An Agronomist graduated from the Catholic University of Córdoba and holder of a Master’s degree in Agronomy from Kansas State University, Watson has built an international career that combines science, business strategy, and management. Prior to joining Rizobacter, he worked at Neste, a global leader in renewable fuels, where he focused on the development and scaling of sustainable feedstock solutions. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Bioceres Crop Solutions, overseeing research and development, regulatory affairs, product development, and field operations. He began his professional career at INDEAR, leading biotechnology projects focused on crop innovation.
In his first message to employees, Watson expressed his enthusiasm about joining what he described as an “iconic company” and highlighted his admiration for Rizobacter’s history, achievements, and the talent of its people.

His appointment comes at a time when Rizobacter is focused on strengthening its competitive position and advancing initiatives that support long-term sustainable growth. Watson emphasized that one of his key priorities will be reinforcing the culture of innovation and operational excellence that has defined the company throughout its history, while fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.
Raised in a farming environment in the agricultural regions of Arroyo Dulce and Monte Buey, Watson has been connected to agriculture from an early age. He believes that growing demand for more environmentally responsible farming practices represents a significant opportunity for the industry and for Rizobacter.

As General Manager, Watson will lead the company’s efforts to accelerate innovation, strengthen customer relationships, and expand the adoption of technologies that help farmers improve productivity while advancing more sustainable agricultural systems.
